Artbreeder AI turns men into women

Here's another find from the Crossdream Life forum: A new artificial intelligence driven web site called Artbreeder allows you to change the gender, age and color of images of people.

Gulliver Arkham writes:

I imagine many here have already heard about Faceapp, however, there is a new site on the web that I personally think is far better, it's called Artbreeder and you can do all sorts of arty things on it.

Including changing faces, it takes anywhere from a few minutes to an hour depending on where your upload is in the queue, at the end of which you get not the picture as is, but “an approximation” but oh, the things you can do with that approximation.

With faces, can looks at Children Crossbreed or Edit-Genes and do all kinds of things.
Over at Crossdreamers Jack Molay has used Artbreeder the site to explore our understanding of what it means to be feminine or masculine.

The Crossdressing Sherlock Holmes

Over at Crossdream Life gulliver.arkham has published a comprehensive overview over the times Sherlock Holmes has crossdressed as a woman:

Along with being the working definition of THE master detective, one of the things you soon learn on reading the original stories about Sherlock Holmes written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle about Sherlock Holmes, hereafter known as “The Canon,” is that he was also a master of disguise. Appearing in disguise in 10 stories in The Canon, unless I miscounted, he is so good at the craft that not even Watson is able to tell who he was when playing at being someone else.

There are also crossdressing stories outside the canon, i.e. in stories not written by Conan Doyle.

The discussion also reveals that there has been a female Watson on TV (Elementary) and even a Japanese female Sherlock Holmes (Miss Sherlock).
