Buy yourself a TG comic for the holiday season! The Harper Kelly Story

I like TG Comics. It has become the important gateway into transgender comics, erotic or otherwise. Quite a few of them are even free.

Today, however, I would like to draw your attention to one of their Premium comics, the Ballad of Harper Kelly. It is made by one of my favorite TG artists, Sturkwurk, together with Renee Roselli.

Sturkwurk is making 3D computergenerated graphics (using Poser, I believe), and as many of you will know, that is not without its risks. You easily end up in the socalled "Uncanny Valley", where people look nearly real, but not real enough. Hence the "uncanny".

Sturkwurk knows how to make use of genuine facial expressions and more to make the images look natural, however. This works. And Renee's story is fun and engaging.

Harper Lee works at a nanotech company that is not amused by his attempts at bringing ethics into the business model. They have the most interesting ways of making him and his police girl friend shut up.

The comic has some sexually explicit sections, but I guess the readers of this blog won't mind.

The Ballad of Harper Kelly. There are (so far) two parts, each priced at US$ 7.95.

New upcoming male to female gender transformation comedy

Amazon is to present a new movie about a sexist man being taught a lesson by witch by being transformed into a sexy woman.

This sounds like Sam all over again, the classical TG fiction theme now used in a romantic comedy.

I have written more about the movie over at Crossdream Life, where you will also find the trailer.

Italian GrindhouseTrans Movie from 1980

Lost in Transgender has covered quite a few vintage movies with transgender themes.

In a new post Cheryl discusses a forgotten Italian soft porn movie from 1980 called Eva Man (Due sessi in uno) starring two transsexual starlets, Eva Robins and Ajita Wilson.

As Cheryl points out, to the extent American movies portrayed trans people at the time, they were most likely criminals or crazy. The Italians, however, might present trans women as sexy heroes.

By the way: That is one amazing poster!

Candy Darling, the transgender superstar of the early seventies

Cheryl has written a great piece on Candy Darling,  the transgender superstar that influenced the alternative scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s. She was a friend of people like Andy Warhol and Lou Reed.

Cheryl writes:
Andy cast her in 'Flesh' (1968) and 'Women in Revolt' (1971). Candy also had some cameo appearances in 'Klute' with Jane Fonda and 'Lady Liberty' with Sophia Loren. Candy tried hard to obtain the lead role in 'Myra Breckinridge' (1970) but lost out to Raquel Welch. She also obtained parts in some independent films such as, 'Silent Night, Bloody Night', 'Some of My Best Friends Are...' and 'Brand X'.

Sex Change in RPGs

Rani Baker has written an interesting article on gender bending in tabletop role playing games throughout the ages: “Is Every Woman Here A Sex Change?” — Trans In Cyberpunk RPG

Here is a relevant quote:

But in the 90s, the cyberpunk genre emerged to dust off these Atomic Age artefacts and carefully lay a patina of grunge over them, showcasing them between images of shock value fetish and surprisingly accurate speculation on an internet culture that was barely beginning to exist. Atomic Age fascination with transsexuals as a form of body augmentation fared no differently. The genre, with it’s focus on self-identity, chaos and tech, seemed to go hand in hand with tabletop and computer role-playing, and many series developed congruently with their spin-off RPGs. Hell, even Infocom, the makers of Zork, released a computer game where you could do drugs and hook up with transsexual strippers.

Sally Bend, Author and Reviewer of TG erotica

Kella Z. Driel has interviewed Sally Bend, author and reviewer of transgender erotica.
Bend writes in Frock, a magazine for
crossdressers, drag queens and trans women.

She’s the assistant editor of Frock Magazine, a crossgender lifestyle magazine where she reviews transgender literature. Her reviews of erotica can also be found in Transformation magazine.

You can read the whole interview over at Driel's blog.

Here is a short extract:

Kella asks: "Within the transgender genre, there are many niches, ranging from the realistic to the fantastic, with for example magical genderswap stories being one extreme. Which niches do you prefer? Are there any you avoid? Are there some you wish got more attention and others less?"

Sally answers: "In all honesty, it depends on my mood. Sometimes I want the magic of an instantaneous, effortless, perfect transformation. I want that dream of just waking up a woman, with no effort or struggle involved. Then again, sometimes I want a realistic story that pays close attention to the details of dressing, doing makeup, and learning to walk in heels.  There are days where the destination is all that matters, and days where I want to enjoy the journey.

I love that futa stories seem to be getting more attention, although it really annoys me when authors jump on the bandwagon and mislabel their characters. I’ve had to call it out in a few reviews – if she doesn’t have a hole AND a pole, then she’s not futa!

The one niche I tend to avoid is sadomasochist erotica, where the forced feminization is solely for the sake of cruelty and humiliation. A little reluctance and coercion can be erotic, so long as the sissy or cuckold learns to enjoy it, but I simply can’t relate to a character that is made to suffer through something that should be so pleasurable."

On how to keep your real identity secret when browsing the web

On how to establish a second
identity online and keeping it private.
Photo: Altrendo
On how to keep your online activities private from friends, family and colleagues.

People who visit TG sites and take part in forums where one discuss gender transformation and crossdressing may -- for obvious reasons -- feel the need to protect their real identity.

If you need to keep your other side a secret from family, friends, colleagues and other people, it is important to establish a good routine for reading and posting online.

Online life is becoming increasingly complicated. We often use several computers, smart phones and tablets at the same time, and the chances of someone finding out what you have been up to are increasing.

Outed by accident

I know of quite a few TG fiction fans who have had their secret "hobby" exposed to family and friends due to some accident:

1. They have been disturbed while reading and writing and left a Fictionmania story open in a tab.
2. There has been a computer crash and the PC has reopened the tabs from the previous session.
3. They have used their regular email instead of their dedicated TG email by mistake.
4. They have used their regular social media account instead of their dedicated TG one by mistake.
5. They have saved captions and stories in one of their regular document folders.
6. Family members have search the browser history in order to retrace a site and found World of TG in the list.

Compartmentalize!

Sam becomes Sam in this MTF transformation movie

Nicholas Brooks has made a comedy about Sam, a misgynistic a**hole, who is transformed into a Sam, a petite brunette of great beauty.

It looks very much like a crossdreamer fantasy to me. There is even the much used TG fiction motive: The old man in the "curiosity" shop bringing on all the magic.

Brooks is the son of Mel Brooks, who is also listed as executive producer of Sam.

Sam is starring Natalie Knepp, Sean Kleier, Stacy Keach, Morgan Fairchild, Bryan Batt, James McCaffrey and Tom Pelphrey.

Det movie is apparently to be made available on DVD and via streaming services in October this year.

What if you were trapped in your favorite video game, as a girl?

What if you were trapped in your favorite video game, as a girl?

That is what happens to one of the main characters in the Web TV series AFK, Steven, a 28 year old male "noob", who has to play the role of a female warrior.

JJ Fong AKA Steven
Yahoo! New Zealand puts it this way in an interview with the actor playing Steven: JJ Fong:

"Steven has adopted a scantily clad female warrior as his character, primarily for the purpose of ogling her while playing. It’s a decision that backfires when he wakes up dressed in a tiny costume that sees him attract a lot of unwanted attention from his fellow transplanted gamers."

Transgender Movie - Eva Robins in 'Mascara' (1987)

Lost in Transgender tells the story og the 19080s movie Mascara, where trans actress Eva Robins plays the role of a trans woman performs in a secret sex club.

Eva Robins was born male in 1958, but developed naturally feminine features and breasts during puberty, despite being a normal boy growing up, her body failed to masculine like the other boys of her age.

From the age of about thirteen she says she felt she wanted to be a female. When she was sixteen, she started oestrogen treatments. By the age of twenty-one she was living completely as a woman.

Tranisa is back with a new feminization movie fantasy

Some of you will be familiar with the Tranisa film company, which has delivered a large number of crossdressing and feminization movies over the year.

Now they are back with a new movie called "Waking Up as a Girl". The title is a dead giveaway. Tranisa says this about the movie:
"Is being turned into a real girl as much fun as you fantasize about? The last thing you remember is a bright light and then darkness. You were on your way home tired from working too hard, but now you’re in bed safe and sound. On waking you realize that things are somehow different. You’re a women…are you dreaming?…You’ve secretly wanted this to happen, but now it has you’re not sure how to feel. Have you suddenly turned into a girl?

Your mother and sister are on hand to help, but they can only confirm that you’re a girl and always have been. What has happened? Have you moved into an alternate reality where you have always been female? You can’t convince them that yesterday you were Stephen a man.

Life has to go on and you’re late for work. Your mother and Sister help you get dressed into the finest of girls’ clothes. A bra and matching panties, stockings and a sexy dress to tease the boys. Finished with your bag full of makeup you’re ready for work."
I really like the movie. Mind you, this is a short fantasy with no explicit sex, but it sets the scene for dreams about a future life as a woman i a funny and sexy way.

Starring Samantha Alexandra, Sapphire Blue and Red.

The transformation movie can be bought over at Tranisa.com!

Tomboy, A Revenger's Tale of Forced Feminization

A forced feminized hit man.
(Photo from movie set)

Controversial move this one, but Michelle Rodriguez is to play a hit man that is put under the knife by Sigourney Weaver (who plays the doctor) and turned into a woman.

The Hollywood Reporter writes:

"The script, written by Hill from a story by Denis Hamill, centers on an ace assassin who is double-crossed by gangsters and falls into the hands of rogue surgeon known as "The Doctor," who turns him into a woman. The hitman (now a hitwoman) sets out for revenge, aided by a nurse named Johnnie, who also has secrets."

The movie is expected in theatres next year.

(Someone has to tell them that a tomboy is female expressing masculine behavior, and not the other way around)

Places to meet other fans of male to female feminization and transformation

World of TG gives you an overview over TG story, caption and movie sites. In this post I will look at sites where you can talk to others about male to female transformation and crossdressing fantasies, and what they may mean for you and others.

Rachel's Haven is a watering hole for those who make and read TG captions. There are trading galleries for those who make captions of this kind. But there are also subforums for crossdressing, fashion and transitioning, to mention a few. This is a safe place to explore who you are.

TG Comics has an active forum covering the topic of transgender comics. You may also want to look at Farhad's TG manga forum for this kind of information. The Fictionmania Message Board is the place to search for TG fiction.

/r/gendererotica over at reddit is a forum for fans of erotic TG transformation stories, movies, captions and comics, feminization and sissyfication stories included.

If you are rather looking for places where you can discuss gender variance, sexuality and identity, you might want to take a look at the following:

Crossdream Life is a forum for those who would like to talk about their fantasies, dreams and problems. This is a safe place where you will be understood and given support. Some of the members think of themselves as transgender. Others do not.

There is also a forum for crossdreamers (people who get aroused by the idea of being the "other" sex) over at reddit.
